Combining its experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) capabilities, Belsis offers services that include consulting, implementation, training, maintenance, support, and R&D.

Belsis has over 80 permanent employees and three business units: Management Information Technology development, Geographical Information Technology development, and R&D, with dedicated teams.

2001

First Web-Based MIS

The first web-based MIS that had an SQL database in Turkey is developed for municipalities, addressing the need for an inclusive, user-friendly management system.

2008

GIS-Based CAD

GIS-based desktop CAD software specialized in city planning and map servers put in place for clients.

2012

GIS Library

The R&D project of GIS library which was funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey is completed successfully to support customized software projects of Belsis clients in an effective way.

2014

Document Management Solutions

Electronic Document Management (EDMS) system developed and integrated into MIS solutions to serve the public and private sectors.

2016

Mobile Developments

MobileCAD and MobileGIS developed and started to be integrated and used in both MIS and customized vertical software solutions.

Our Story

Belsis’ foundations are laid in the late 80s when two friends realized that they have fun and feel accomplished by digitizing and automatizing everyday tasks in the newly developing computer age. They dedicated themselves to enhancing their capabilities to keep up with their solution-oriented creativity, while they are still students at the university.
After transforming many SMEs and local municipalities by means of digitalization, Belsis took a step forward to the geographical information world and not only for processing the data but also for creating it to international standards. With this initiative, Belsis expanded its vision to the benefits of integrated data and gave back to the clients and communities that it serves.

Like most companies, Belsis started with a one-room, one-desk, one-computer establishment in 2000 and grew with friends’ and developer communities’ contributions. Aside from the founders’ initial efforts, it climbed the stairs of being the visionary leader of the market step by step, thanks to its devoted and highly-competent employees who still work and carry Belsis forward up to this date.
